Talking 2 Minds are committed to developing programmes that meet the needs of our clients.

To do this we undertake external validation and comprehensive reviews of our approach. This includes statistical analysis of outcomes which is an ongoing and important part of ensuring that Talking 2 Minds maintains the correct level of support that all our client require.

Our outcomes are analysed by psychologists and statisticians that use The World Health Organisation instruments of validation to measure the client’s progress over an extended period of time.

Based on an initial pilot study of over 100 clients the external validation team and Talking 2 Minds ethics team have found:

  • 97% decrease in scores for Depression
  •  91% decrease in scores for Anxiety
  • 100% of those measure for Stress were now in the Normal category post-treatment, with no score higher than Moderate, a significant improvement for all candidates

Follow up enquires at 6 and 12 months post Change Programme show that candidates remain stable, and that there is a significant improvement in the quality of life of all candidates.

If you wish to find out more about this process please contact the charity at  stating which organisation or professional body that you officially represent.

Instruments will continue to be sent to clients 6 month and 12 month post treatment and results updated accordingly.

Talking 2 Minds are committed to continue research and development of the programmes we offer to enable us to move forward and help more of those who are experiencing the symptoms of PTSD.
