Living With PTSD A Dairy Of, by Jamie-Lee Hampson (FACEBOOK PAGE)

I am 14 Year old girl and am writing about my Dad but from my side ME, DAD, PTSD and life, living with it my hopes my fears, what I have seen and what I see and hear now.

My aims:

  • KEEPING FAMILYS TOGETHER WHO LIVE WITH PTSD
  • TALKING2MINDS A FAMILY RETREAT IN THE MAKING
  • HOW DO WE HOLD THEM UP KEEP THEM GOING
  • TRYING TO KEEP US TOGETHER AND OTHERS!!

LIVING WITH PTSD ITS NOT A NIGHTMARE IF U UNDERSTAND IT, LOVE, CARE AND UNDERSTANDING WILL KEEP FAMILIES TOGETHER!

I am raising the awareness of PTSD to everyone in the UK.

Also I am trying to get a book deal so people can read and understand about living with someone with PTSD which will go to help Talking2Minds help many more people get well that are effected by PTSD.

I am working with my Dad and Talking2Minds to raise enough money to get a family retreat established, so that those family members that are badly affected by proxy can heal with the Talking2Minds Change Programme and to stop the split up of family ‘s as I know what it ‘s like now.

I am starting a Youth Group to help youths living with PTSD the first of which we starting with Isle Of Wight then National.

Am also fighting to keep me and Dad together.

Its wrong how suffers of PTSD get treated after they come out of the Army there should be more help for them and for there family’s.

To lobby government for change and recognition for support to help family ‘s suffering by living with PTSD.

Also to fight for benefits for people like my Dad why should they get less due to having a pension i.e. Dad only gets £23 a week housing benefit instead of £97 a week just because he has his military pension which is not fair.

Also to lobby for change in benefits for ex forces personnel as they deserve their pensions.

Please visit my Facebook page and help us help Talking2minds raise the profile of PTSD and how they really help both the sufferer and their families.
